Expertly handcrafted in North Devon, our candles is made with 100% Soy Wax. Not only is it non-toxic and pollutant free, but it also burns cleaner, is less likely to trigger allergies and won't leave any messy soot stains. Its lower melting point also releases a stronger and more pleasant scent, while being easy to clean and vegan-friendly makes it the perfect eco-friendly option. Plus, the Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil wax stays solid for a long burn.

Candle Care

Light your candle in an area free of drafts or fans to avoid sooting and uneven burning. Burning your candle for 1.5-2 hours at a time is ideal; burning it for shorter periods causes wax to build up around the vessel, and longer periods may cause the wick to move. Don't forget to put out the flame when 10mm of wax remains at the bottom for optimal safety!

Wick Care

Keep your candle in top condition by following these steps: Snuff the flame with a wick trimmer instead of blowing the candle out, and be sure to keep the wax pool clear of any debris or matches that could act as a secondary wick. Centre and straighten the wick once the flame has been extinguished. Burning for too long can cause the wick to move or slant, so keep an eye on the wick's position to prevent the vessel from cracking. For a longer-lasting and cleaner burn, make sure to trim the wick to 5mm (once the wax has solidified) – this will help avoid any high flames, smoking or sooting.

Storing Your Candle

When not in use, store your candle in a dry, cool location. Condensation on the surface is an indication of incorrect storage or storage for too long; quickly wipe it away with a paper towel before lighting. To enjoy its exquisite aroma, use your candle within a reasonable timeframe - too much storage can affect the scent.
